Following the Music after the Divorce led me to New York City. I needed to cry. I needed to sing. I needed to figure out what Life is after Love. New York City circa 2007 turned out to be just the place to process some deep feels without sticking out like a sore thumb. I fit in there. I Sang My Pain away while Broadway Rose Up Out of the Ground around me. I found others to sing with and spontaneous dance parties with other street performers and lonely hearts looking for companionship was a way of life.
